Campout Day #2 - Tonto Natural Bridge

The Tonto Natural bridge was AMAZING! It ranks as one of the most beautiful places I have ever been!
Breathtaking
This is us adventurous guys taking the hardest possible way through the cave.

And pretending to be Bear Grylles -

"Now, this cliff is 140 foot to the bottom, and the rocks are real slippy! If you fall it is sure death! Which makes it one of the most dangerous places on earth! Now the only way across this, is to jump across the gap and grab the little ledge! If I miss, it is my death! In a REAL survival situation, you should never attempt this, but I am gonna do it anyway!!!!"

Lil' Meany

Walking Alexa home from a babysitting job, we found this little guy on the road.

He is just a little bull snake, but he is a mean one! And tricky too! Right when we thought he was nice and calm.. He strikes and gets Alexa right on the wrist! (NON-VENOMOUS!)

It didn't even phase her though! Ok, ok, the snake isn't as big as he looks in the picture, but he has teeth. And he doesn't hesitate to sink 'em into yer skin!

But Hey! Her experience only made her even more brave!! The very next day she had the meanie the bull snake, plus Ricky the Python and Josh the Long-Nosed snake! And she was HAPPY!

Ward Campout Day 1 - Night time business

The Youth (And Bro. Stevens) Kinda segregated from the pack and had some fun.
What you see here is me and Dustin arguing about something stupid supposedly.. It kinda got out of hand when I climbed the 20ft tree and pounced on him ninja-style.
you can tell by the look on his face he did not suspect anything... I would like to acknowledge good ol' Brandonian in the background making sure I didn't get hurt, he's got my back....

It was Fun Times!

This is the first real nasty injury I have received from bike-related causes. (surprisingly) I made the mistake of wearing slippy skate shoes on my mountain bike, they slipped on a jump and I got a bad gash in my shin from my nasty monster pedals.
Thank you Brandon for offering his tube sock as a makeshift bandage and blood-stopper! The main cut is not visible in any picture we have. But It is about 2 1/2 inches long, and deep enough to see the bone. There was a long debate about stitches, but we ended up using Bruce's nifty "surgical glue"
Hey! I just realized, mine and my dad's injuries both concern what shoes we wear! LOL
