BSA Varsity Scout Triathlon 2008

Down in Safford we had a BSA Varsity Scout Triathlon.
We swam 300 meters, biked 6 Miles, and ran two miles with no break.
It was actually very very fun! the Night before we went to Safford Stake dance, there were hundreds for people from all over Arizona. Afterward we watched the Suns get smashed by the SA Spurs. . . . I miss the Jazz.

It was Hot, Dry, and a BLAST!!!

Davis and my dirtbike's flag didn't get along too well.
he rode right into it... click on it to zoom in. Don't I look helpful sitting there laughing?
He din't lose any eyes....

Just a bit of dignity

Javelina!

Davis & I were kinda freaked out today.
We stumbled upon a Javelina on my bike while head back from our BMX/Dirt bike track at the desert. It jumped away then whirled around and confronted me.(that is when we started bookin' it.) We were so stupid because we dropped our bikes and RAN when we could have rode to safety. So we had to wait a while for it to wander off so we could grab our bikes and leave.
(NO URGENT CARE FOR US TODAY!)
look at those pearly whites on that thing!
Too bad we didn't have a camera!

What you can do with an old steak knife

I made this with an old antler and a steak knife, I think it turned out pretty cool!
The sheath is just leather and a rattlesnake head on the front..
