TTR 90 fun!

So, I have been riding a LOT lately.. It's really super fun! So when Brando & I took their little TTR90 out, I got the sudden epiphany that maybe we should bring a camera! (I know, crazy right?) Maybe next time we should take it when we have our own bikes.

Latest Book - Hey it's not Twilight!

So I just finished a great book "To Kill a Mockingbird"
It is a very good book, and it has a great message. Even though some of the events that take place are kind of....... different. I also got to watch the movie on my phone on the way here to Utah. It is quite accurate! Of course the movie had to cut some parts out, but it was a very good movie. I give it a thumbs up! See, look at me, while all females in North America go nuts about twilight, I am reading a NOVEL with a MORAL.. and IMPORTANCE! lol

More Antler Projects

Here are some of my latest creations inspired by Mountain Man Rendezvous: You probably remember the one from last year's post.

For the smaller knife I made the blade myself out of a big file, and I bought the machete blade, and stuck em into elk antler myself. I was actually taught how to do big knives right by "trader lee" so it is all perfectly safe. The knife blade is somewhere around 8 1/2 inches and the machete is around 20-21 inches. both of them took around two hours to make. I really should have gotten before and after pictures.. oh well.

New Side of the Desert

Yesterday Christian and I went to the further, untouched side of the desert. Most the time when we go to that area we usually find something new and exciting; And yesterday we found the only Saguaro cactus in the whole State Trust Desert! (sorry for the low quality cell phone pictures) And a HUGE Bull Snake. 5 1/2 feet and fat as mud!
And when we got back -

Alexa held it!
